How to use SKRILOV Stone Clay

1. Start with clean, fully dry hair — this clay is designed for dry application.
2. Scoop a small amount (fingertip-sized) and warm it between your palms until it softens.
3. Work through your hair from roots to ends, building texture and shaping as you go.
4. Rework and adjust as needed — the hold stays pliable.
5. To remove, shampoo thoroughly; the oil/wax base requires a proper wash-out.

What kind of hold does SKRILOV Stone Clay give?

It delivers a firm-ish, pliable hold — enough to shape and keep your style in place without going stiff or crunchy. Because the base is petrolatum, beeswax, and mineral oil, the hold stays workable: you can restyle without cracking or flaking.

Is this a matte or shiny finish?

Matte. Kaolin clay is an oil-absorbing mineral that eliminates shine and gives your hair a clean, natural, non-reflective finish. There is no gloss or wet-look effect.

Does it have a scent?

No added fragrance. The formula contains no Parfum. There may be a faint neutral odor from the base ingredients, but there is no perfume or scent blend. It won't compete with your cologne.

Is this clay water-based or oil-based?

Oil/wax-based — the carrier is petrolatum, mineral oil, and beeswax. It is not water-based, so it will not rinse out with water alone. Shampoo thoroughly to remove it completely.

Do I apply it to wet or dry hair?

Dry hair. Unlike water-based stylers, this clay is designed for dry-hair application. Applying it to wet hair will dilute the hold and compromise the matte finish.

Heat the clay first. Scoop a small amount and roll it hard between your palms for about 10–15 seconds before you touch your hair. A cold clay won't spread evenly and you'll end up over-applying. Once it's warm and almost translucent, it coats every strand cleanly — that's when you get the true matte and the texture without heaviness.
