How to use

1. Wash and towel-dry your hair until damp (not dripping).
2. Dispense a small amount into your palm and emulsify between your hands.
3. Distribute evenly through the lengths and ends — avoid the scalp.
4. Comb through to detangle.
5. Style or blow-dry as usual.
6. Do not rinse out.

Can also be applied to dry hair to smooth flyaways or refresh the finish between washes.

This anti-frizz hair cream is best for hair that is dry, frizzy, curly, coily, thick or naturally unruly.

Use it when your hair:

• Needs light hold and shape control without a crunchy finish

Also works as a finishing cream on blow-dried hair to add gloss and tame any remaining flyaways.

Not ideal for

Very fine or low-porosity hair that weighs down easily — start with a minimal amount and adjust.

Is this a rinse-out conditioner or a leave-in?

It is a leave-in cream. You apply it to damp (or dry) hair after washing and leave it in — do not rinse it out.

Can I use it on dry hair?

Yes. A small amount worked through dry hair smooths flyaways and refreshes shine without needing to re-wash.

Does it contain silicones?

Yes — Amodimethicone is present in the formula. It is the ingredient responsible for the smooth, shiny, frizz-resistant finish. This is not a silicone-free product.

What role does the black caviar extract play?

Caviar Extract is the signature ingredient of the Mon Platin Black Caviar line and is present in the formula. The core conditioning and smoothing performance comes from the cationic conditioning complex and Amodimethicone; the caviar extract contributes to the line's premium profile.

Will it work on curly hair without disrupting the curl pattern?

The cream adds moisture, slip and definition to curly and frizzy hair, and the light-hold polymers help maintain shape. It is not a curl-defining gel; it smooths and conditions the curl rather than crunching it.

Is it safe for colour-treated hair?

It is a leave-in conditioning cream, not a cleansing shampoo, so it does not strip colour the way a daily wash does. Always confirm with your colourist if you have specific concerns.

In the barbershop we reach for this cream when a client's hair is fighting back — tangled after a wash, puffing up from humidity, or crackling with static in winter. Work a coin-sized amount through damp ends before blow-drying and you get a noticeably smoother result with high gloss and very little effort. On thick or coily hair, comb it through in sections so the conditioning film distributes evenly. If your hair is on the finer side, half the amount is enough.
