The formula pairs PVP and Polyquaternium-11 film-formers for flexible, soft hold with natural movement. Alcohol-free, oil-free, and salt-free (no sodium chloride), so curls stay light and bouncy rather than weighed down or dried out.

How to Use
How to use Mon Platin Wave Mousse
1. Wash hair and gently towel-dry — curls should be damp, not dripping.
2. Dispense a palm-sized amount of foam and distribute evenly through your hair from mid-length to ends.
3. Shape your curls:
• More volume: work the product from the roots outward — this lifts and expands the curl.
• Less volume: scrunch from the curl tip toward the root — this compresses and defines without bulk.
4. Air-dry, or use a diffuser attachment on a low-heat setting for faster results.
5. Once dry, scrunch gently to soften any cast and release natural movement.
Tip: For tighter definition, apply to soaking-wet hair before towel-drying.

FAQ
Is this mousse alcohol-free?
Yes. Mon Platin Wave Mousse contains no ethanol or Alcohol Denat — the drying alcohols found in many traditional mousses. The formula is water-based, so it styles without stripping moisture from your curls.
Will it leave my hair crunchy or stiff?
No. The hold comes from PVP and Polyquaternium-11 film-formers, which create a flexible coat around the curl rather than a rigid cast. Once your hair is fully dry, a light scrunch releases natural movement.
Can I control how much volume I get?
Yes — volume is determined by styling direction, not product amount. Work from the roots outward for more lift; work from the curl tip toward the root to reduce volume noticeably. You can use the same amount of product and get very different results.
Is it safe for colour-treated hair?
The formula is salt-free (no sodium chloride) and oil-free, and it contains no harsh drying alcohols — making it gentle on colour-treated curls. Always check with your colourist if you have a fresh chemical service.
Can I use it on wavy hair, or is it only for tight curls?
It works well across the curl spectrum — waves and loose curls included. The lightweight foam won't overwhelm finer wave patterns the way heavier creams or gels can.
Does it contain sulfates?
There are no SLS or SLES sulfates in this product. It is a styling mousse, not a cleansing formula.

The volume trick is real — I use it constantly on clients. If someone comes in with curly hair that's always too big, I have them apply the mousse starting at the ends and scrunching upward rather than diffusing from the roots. You can take a third of the volume off without touching a single strand with scissors. On the flip side, clients with limp waves who want more body get it styled from root to tip before the diffuser goes on. Same product, two completely different results depending on your hands.
