How to use Mon Platin Seed Essence Serum

1. Wash and towel-dry hair until damp (not dripping).
2. Dispense a small amount (1–2 pumps depending on hair length and thickness) into your palm.
3. Distribute evenly through mid-lengths and ends — avoid the roots if your hair is fine or prone to looking flat.
4. Comb through to detangle.
5. Blow-dry or air-dry as usual.
6. Can be used daily.

Tip: start with one pump and add more if needed — a little goes a long way on fine hair.

Apply to damp, towel-dried hair before blow-drying. Work it through mid-lengths and ends, comb through to detangle, then blow-dry as normal. It is a leave-in serum — do not rinse it out.

Does it repair or prevent split ends?

No. Split ends cannot be repaired or permanently sealed by any cosmetic product — only a trim removes them. What this serum does: its silicone film coats the hair shaft and smooths the appearance of split ends, and helps reduce snagging and breakage during combing and blow-drying, which can limit how quickly new splits form during styling.

Is this a heat protectant?

It works as a cosmetic heat-protection aid. The Dimethicone-based film coats the strand and helps protect it during blow-drying. It is not a graded thermal protectant with a tested temperature rating — it is a silicone serum applied before blow-drying that provides a cosmetic buffer against heat.

Will it help my hair grow or reduce hair loss?

No. This is a cosmetic finishing and protection serum. It does not affect hair growth, density, or shedding. If you are experiencing hair loss, consult a trichologist or dermatologist.

Is it good for frizzy or dry hair?

Yes — the silicone formula is well suited to dry, frizzy, or dull hair. The coating smooths the cuticle surface, which reduces the appearance of frizz and adds shine. For very fine hair, use a minimal amount and focus on the ends to avoid weighing the hair down.

What is the flaxseed oil in this serum?

Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed / Flaxseed) Seed Oil is the signature botanical ingredient of the Seed Essence line. It appears in the formula alongside the Dimethicone and alkane base. It is not the primary or highest-concentration ingredient — Dimethicone is — but it is the ingredient the product is named for and identified with.

Can I use it every day?

Yes. It is designed for daily use. If you find build-up accumulating over several days, wash with your regular shampoo to reset.
