Patch-test — important

This product contains Parfum (Fragrance), Linalool and Limonene, which are known fragrance allergens. Before first use, apply a small amount to the inner elbow. Leave uncovered for 24 hours. Do not use if redness, itching or burning develops. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

How to use

1. Wash and towel-dry hair until damp (not dripping).
2. Dispense a small amount of oil serum into your palm — start with 1–2 drops or a pea-sized amount; adjust to hair length and thickness.
3. Rub palms together and work evenly through mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the scalp if your hair is fine or prone to greasiness.
4. Style as usual with a blow-dryer or diffuser.
5. For extra smoothness on dry hair, a very small amount can be applied to the ends after styling.

Tip

Less is more. Applying too much to fine hair can weigh it down. Start light and build from there.

How do I use it — before or after blow-drying?

Apply to damp, towel-dried hair before blow-drying. The silicone film needs to be in place before heat is applied so it can help protect the hair surface during the drying process. A very small amount can also be smoothed onto dry ends after styling for extra gloss.

Is this a heat protectant?

It is not a dedicated heat-protection spray with a tested thermal rating. Mon Platin Oriental Oil is a cosmetic serum: the silicone film (Dimethicone) coats each strand and helps protect the hair surface during blow-drying, reducing friction and moisture loss. It is essentially a shine and conditioning serum with blow-dry benefits — not a high-heat styling protectant.

Does it repair or prevent split ends?

No. The silicone-oil formula smooths the look of split ends and helps reduce breakage during blow-drying and brushing. It cannot repair or permanently seal a split — only a trim removes split ends.

Does argan oil make hair grow?

No. Mon Platin Oriental Oil is a cosmetic shine and protection serum. Argan oil is a featured nourishing ingredient that contributes to a glossy, conditioned appearance. It has no effect on hair growth, density or shedding.

Which hair types is it for?

All hair types — straight, wavy, curly, fine, thick and colour-treated. Adjust the amount to your hair's weight and porosity: fine hair needs very little; thick or coarser hair can take a little more.

Is it a rinse-out or leave-in product?

Leave-in. Apply to damp hair before blow-drying and do not rinse out.

Can I use it every day?

Yes. The formula is designed for daily styling use. If you blow-dry daily, apply it as part of your regular routine.

In the barbershop we use a product like this as the first thing in after towel-drying — before the brush even touches the hair. One or two drops worked through mid-lengths gives the blow-dry a much cleaner, glossier finish. The silicone slip also means less mechanical damage from the brush when you're moving fast with a round-brush blow-out. Keep the amount small on fine hair; coarser textures can handle a touch more.
