Mon Platin Black Caviar — Shampoo for Oily Hair

SKU 7290013705372
Price

₪80.00

A shampoo for oily hair that actually resets the scalp rather than stripping it bare. Mon Platin Total Balance combines black caviar extract with pomegranate and green tea antioxidants to dissolve excess oil, sebum, and product buildup — leaving hair visibly lighter, cleaner, and with natural movement restored for longer between washes.

Formulated to match the scalp's natural pH, the lather rinses clean without leaving residue, so oily roots stay fresh longer and fine or limp hair regains body and bounce. If you experience both oily roots and a flaky scalp, our dedicated Black Caviar Anti-Dandruff Shampoo may be the better fit — this formula focuses on oil and sebum control, not dandruff treatment.

How to Use

How to Use

1. Wet hair thoroughly with warm water.
2. Apply a generous amount to the scalp and roots — this is where the formula does its work. Work into a lather with your fingertips (not nails).
3. Massage the scalp for 1–2 minutes to loosen oil, sebum, and buildup.
4. Allow the lather to run through the lengths as you rinse — no need to scrub the ends.
5. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
6. For oily roots with dry ends: concentrate the shampoo at the roots and scalp only, then follow with a moisturising conditioner applied from mid-lengths to tips.
7. Use as needed — most people with oily hair find every 1–2 days works well. Adjust based on your scalp.

Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water.

Who It's For

Who It's For

Best for: oily or greasy scalp; oily roots that go limp or heavy within 24 hours of washing; fine or flat hair that loses body quickly.
Use it when: your hair feels weighed down, looks shiny at the roots before midday, or carries visible buildup from sebum or styling products.
Good fit for men who want a no-fuss daily cleanse that actually cuts through scalp grease without feeling harsh.
Works for oily roots / dry ends: apply only at the roots and scalp, let the rinse water carry the lather through the lengths, then condition the ends separately.
Colour-treated hair: this is a clarifying formula with sulfates (SLS/ALS) that can accelerate colour fade over time — if your colour is fresh or fragile, wash less frequently or use a colour-safe shampoo.
Not what you need if: you have a flaky or itchy scalp and suspect dandruff — see our Black Caviar Anti-Dandruff Shampoo instead, which is formulated specifically for that concern.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this shampoo sulfate-free?

No. This formula contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate — both are sulfate-based surfactants. They provide thorough cleansing of heavy oil and buildup, which is precisely what this shampoo is designed to do. If your priority is a sulfate-free formula, this product is not the right fit.

Is it salt-free?

No. The INCI includes Sodium Chloride (salt), which is commonly used to adjust the consistency of cleansing formulas. It is not a salt-free shampoo.

Can I use this if I have both oily hair and dandruff?

This shampoo is formulated to cleanse away excess oil and sebum — it is not an anti-dandruff treatment and contains no active anti-dandruff ingredient. If you have a flaky or dandruff-prone scalp, our dedicated Black Caviar Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is the right choice from this range.

My roots are oily but my ends are dry. Will this work for me?

Yes — apply the shampoo only to the scalp and roots. Let the lather rinse through the lengths without working it in. Follow with a moisturising conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends only. This approach lets the formula address oily roots without over-drying already-dry ends.

What does black caviar extract actually do in this formula?

Caviar extract is part of the Mon Platin Black Caviar series' signature ingredient profile. In cosmetic use it is associated with a conditioning, lustrous finish. It does not replace the cleansing surfactants — it is present alongside them to support the overall sensory and finish performance of the formula.

How often should I wash with this shampoo?

That depends on how quickly your scalp produces oil. Most people with an oily scalp wash every one to two days. The formula is designed for regular use. If washing daily causes any scalp sensitivity, try every other day and see if that balance works better for you.

Is this shampoo suitable for sensitive scalps?

This formula contains Methylisothiazolinone (MI), Cocamide DEA, and fragrance ingredients (Parfum, Geranyl Acetate, Pinene), all of which can cause reactions in people with known sensitivities. A patch test before first use is strongly recommended. If you have a diagnosed sensitive or reactive scalp, consult a dermatologist before use.

Will this work for fine hair?

Fine hair that goes flat quickly is often linked to oily roots weighing it down. By clearing sebum and buildup, the shampoo helps restore natural movement and body at the root — giving fine hair a lighter, fuller appearance. This is a cosmetic effect of the cleanse, not a volumising or thickening treatment.

From the SKRILOV Chair

From the SKRILOV Chair

When a client sits down and their hair is already heavy by midday, the first question I ask is what shampoo they're using — and how. A lot of guys shampoo the lengths, which barely touches the problem. The oil comes from the scalp. Work the Total Balance into the scalp with your fingertips, give it a full minute, then let the rinse do the rest. If your ends feel rough after, add a small amount of conditioner from the ears down before rinsing — roots clean, ends soft. That's the fix.
